About the Ivy Golf Network

The Ivy Golf Network is an exclusive community that connects student-athletes, business leaders, and professionals through the shared passion of golf. Founded at Brown University by Max McWilliams, the network provides opportunities for high-level networking, mentorship, and career development.

Max’s inspiration for the Ivy Golf Network comes from his own journey into golf. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he discovered the sport at Lions Municipal Golf Course, a small public course in Austin, Texas. With no prior connections in the golf world, he began signing up for tee times with strangers, quickly realizing that golf was more than just a game—it was a powerful tool for building relationships. Over time, these casual rounds turned into opportunities, from meeting business leaders to securing internships and club invitations.

With two membership tiers, the Ivy Golf Network offers general access to networking events and an exclusive membership for deeper mentorship and industry connections. Through tournaments, speaker panels, and professional outings, we create a space where golf and business intersect, fostering meaningful relationships that last a lifetime.
